Mid July 2016

We continue to be in a severe drought. There are local watering restrictions. The plants aren’t the only things suffering, the animals are also having trouble finding fresh water. We have even had the deer drinking from the bird baths. The birds also take advantage of the fresh water we put out and we have been refilling the bird baths multiple times a day.

The heron has been around fishing for chipmunks and continues to be successful. Meg got some video of his most recent meal.

Meg is taking pictures faster than I can blog. Hope you enjoyed.
