New Kayaks

We had so much fun when Nancy visited us (1) , (2) that we decided to follow through and get Andrew his sit- in Kayak. We outdid ourselves and got one for Wink as well. To test them out we decided to do the Lamprey River paddle again down to Newmarket and back.

Cormorant On Guard

All told from getting the equipment ready, loading the equipment and making it back to the house, three hours went by. It was a splendid way to spend an afternoon. We did learn from people we met on the paddle that the fall striper run is starting soon. The next adventure is to try the fishing kayak out for what it was designed for. Andrew found some crazy kayak fishing channels on youtube:

Crazy Texas gulf deepwater kayak fishing. Emphasis on crazy:

Striped Bass being caught in great bay in late may (There ARE fish out there. Sometimes):

Andrew did the research supporting our buying decisions. So far we are happy with what we have chosen and look forward to many happy hours on the bay.

Love

Mark, Wink and Andrew
