Fry Daddy

We went to a Christmas Eve party and they had a deep fryer called a Fry Daddy. They made onion rings and French fries. We made onion rings in the left over grease in our Dutch Ovens in Boy Scouts. The recipe was from Doug Kirk’s mother and they were the best onion rings I have ever had. The flavor might have been enhanced by the hunger. Our friends said they were available at the grocery store. Andrew said we had to have one. We went and bought one for $19.99. The rest is history. You be the judge:

First Try

Off to a good start. We will have to do more research. The batter puffed up into a bread like consistency. We need to get some beer batter  and crispy recipes. We also need to fry things like Snickers and Oreo cookies with the old batter. Look out world, here we come.
