We were scheduled to go fishing on Monday July 18, 2011 on the CaptínTonaire. But the weather did not cooperate. Apparently it was really nasty out in the sound. So instead of a full day charter we settled for a half day Wednesday evening. I had assembled an experienced crew. The crew was to consist of Meg Moeller, Nancy Moeller, Winkie Moeller, Shih-Emn Chen, Jim Moore and myself. Unfortunately Nancy and Shih-Emn were unable to stay or return for Wednesday night fishing. Jim Moore returned to Cambridge and came back for the half day fising.
So with the diminished crew we set out to fish. Apparently the fish were out by Nantucket and so we travelled a ways to get to the fish. It was still fairly rough. By the end of the trip Meg admitted to being slightly seasick. But she had no regrets. Here we are outbound.
It was a pretty evening

†We wanted more bluefish, but all in all, it was a very successful fishing trip.
The captain said it works better when you go out where the fish are.
